Skin concern

Eczema.

A barrier under attack from the inside.

What's actually going on

Eczema isn't just dry skin that needs more moisturiser. It's a chronic inflammatory condition where the immune system has turned on the skin's own barrier. Tissue-resident memory T cells, originally trained to protect, begin misfiring and attacking healthy tissue. The barrier weakens, moisture escapes, irritants get in, and the immune system escalates further. Stress compounds the problem through the HPA axis, elevating cortisol, which damages barrier function even more and can trigger gut imbalances that feed back into the cycle. The flare-ups aren't random. They're the visible signal of an immune system stuck in a chronic loop.

The common approach

Topical steroids and moisturisers. Steroids suppress inflammation, which helps short-term, but long-term use thins the skin and can create dependency. Moisturisers manage symptoms but don't address why the barrier keeps failing. The underlying immune dysfunction and the inflammatory cycle driving it are often left untouched. Flare, treat, calm, repeat.

How we treat it

We focus on breaking the inflammatory cycle, not just suppressing symptoms. Controlled needling triggers an acute inflammatory response that redirects the immune system from its chronic misfire into repair mode. While the skin is in that repair window, targeted compounds are delivered to support barrier reconstruction at the dermal level. Electroporation improves uptake where it matters. The goal is to strengthen the skin's defences, restore desmosomal adhesion, and reduce flare frequency by calming the underlying fire, not just managing what's visible.
